Celia Morel is a Practice Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing her practice on the defense of general liability matters, including construction, trucking and transportation, and premises liability.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Celia worked as an associate at a law firm where she focused on insurance defense litigation. She served as an Assistant District Attorney in Westchester and Rockland Counties in New York, where she prosecuted misdemeanors and felony crimes. Her experience also includes working as an Investigations, Audits and Compliance associate in the private sector, where she represented healthcare providers on regulatory and transactional matters, assisted clients on compliance matters, and handled contract drafting and review as well as corporate closings on mergers and acquisitions across multiple portfolios.
Celia graduated cum laude from Pace University with a Bachelor of Arts. She received her Juris Doctor from the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University, where she was selected to argue at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Vienna, Austria, for two consecutive years.
