Carol J. Sangster Attorney Profile | Kelley Kronenberg

Overview

Carol Sangster is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing her practice on workers’ compensation defense representing employers, insurance companies, and third-party administrators throughout the state of Indiana. Drawing upon more than two decades of legal experience, she brings a distinctive perspective to her practice, having adeptly represented parties on both sides of claims throughout her career.

Carol’s academic journey began with an Associate of Science degree in Paralegal Studies from Vincennes University, where she graduated magna cum laude. This achievement paved the way for her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology/Criminology from Valparaiso University and a Juris Doctor degree from Valparaiso University School of Law.

Since the beginning of her legal career, Carol has been an active member of the Indiana State Bar Association’s Citizenship Committee. Several times a year, she represents the ISBA by participating in Naturalization Ceremonies that take place at the Federal Courthouse in Hammond, Indiana. She has participated in the naturalization of hundreds of new American citizens.

Carol finds gratification in her volunteer work with the Indiana Judges and Lawyers Assistance Program (JLAP), a platform through which she offers support and counseling to her fellow Bar members. Her involvement spans since 2004, during which time she has overseen a diverse array of attorneys – from those new to the field to seasoned practitioners.
