Overview

Christa D’Angelica is a Partner in Kelley Kronenberg’s General Liability Division, focusing her practice on New York Labor Law and premises liability cases. She specializes in legal writing and research, including appellate practice. She also brings substantial experience representing clients in various stages of litigation across diverse practice areas, including employment, municipal, corporate, contract, and environmental law, as well as tax foreclosure actions.

Christa has successfully defended municipalities in Federal US 1983 suits and wrongful death actions. She has significant experience litigating New York Labor Law actions on behalf of building owners, contractors, and municipal agencies. Additionally, she served on the national counsel team for a large multinational technology company wherein she defended the company in asbestos lawsuits commenced throughout the United States.

Prior to her law firm employment, Christa served as an assistant law clerk for a judge with the New York State Supreme Court. In that role, she gained valuable insight into the way that the judiciary approaches decision-making and she had the opportunity to compose judicial opinions on a broad range of civil matters.

Christa earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy at Fordham University. She was the first graduate of the joint degree program that Pace Law School offers in conjunction with Sarah Lawrence College. In order to complete the program, she attended both law school and graduate school to attain a Juris Doctor and Master’s Degree in history.
