Christina Mitchelson is a Practice Partner at Kelley Kronenberg where she assists in handling matters related to first-party property insurance defense.
Prior to joining the firm, Christina was a public school teacher with the Florida Department of Education for over 25 years.
Christina received her Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from the University of Florida where she continued her studies and received a Master of Arts in Elementary Education, cum laude. Christina then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law with a Certificate of Concentration in Elder Law. While in law school, Christina was Vice President of the Elder Law Society and had many achievements including the Matthew Bender Elder Book Award, Veterans Law Institute Award for Excellence, and the William F. Blews Pro Bono Service Award. Christina was a Fellow for the Veteran’s Advocacy Clinic where she advocated for clients by writing and filing briefs with the Veterans Administration and collaborated with attorneys to develop action plans. She also worked as a Law Clerk conducting research and preparing for litigation on insurance claims.
