Claudia Acosta

Claudia Acosta is Of Counsel at Kelley Kronenberg, where she focuses on general liability defense matters. She handles cases involving premises liability and negligent security with a strategic and client-centered approach.

Prior to joining the firm, Claudia handled complex insurance defense litigation on behalf of carriers, managing first and third-party property defense matters in state courts throughout Florida. She gained valuable experience at multiple law firms where she worked on personal injury cases in both litigation and pre-suit stages. Claudia also served as a Judicial Intern to The Honorable Judge Marcia B. Caballero at the Eleventh Judicial Circuit of Florida.

Claudia earned her Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Political Science from Florida International University, graduating cum laude. While at FIU, she served as Social Committee Chair and Recruitment Chair for Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity and was a member of the Sigma Alpha Lambda Honor Society.

She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law, also graduating cum laude. During law school, Claudia gained valuable litigation and trial experience through the Litigation Skills Program, handling mock trials before state and federal judges in Miami-Dade County. She served as Vice President of Miami Law Women and participated in the HOPE Pro-Bono/Community Service Community. Claudia also gained practical experience as a Certified Legal Intern for the City of Miami, Office of the City Attorney.
