David Gonzalez is a Partner and Business Unit Leader at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on the defense of third-party insurance and general liability matters, with particular emphasis on products liability and complex commercial litigation. He has extensive experience defending commercial lawsuits and tort actions, including products liability claims, construction accidents, premises liability, automobile negligence, and multi-party commercial disputes in both state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, David served as Partner and Of Counsel at a law firm, where he practiced for over nine years handling complex litigation matters. He began his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Michael A. Toto in the New Jersey Superior Court Middlesex Visinage, where he gained valuable insight into judicial decision-making and courtroom procedures. His experience also includes serving as Senior Legal Clerk to the Senior Vice President and General Counsel of a major national bank and as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Jose L. Linares (ret.) in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Prior to his legal career, David held various management positions in account management and business services, developing strong client relationship and business development skills.
David earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Economics, and Latin American Studies from the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School.
