Dyan Kleinman is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg in the General Liability and Third-Party Insurance Defense Division, focusing her practice on medical malpractice defense, nursing home, premises liability, and automobile liability matters. She brings extensive experience in complex medical malpractice litigation, in-house counsel work, and risk management.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Dyan worked as Associate Counsel for a major hospital system, where she managed complex medical malpractice and general liability litigation from inception through trial, investigated high-value cases to preserve evidence and promote early resolution, and determined standard of care compliance through expert review. She subsequently served as Of Counsel at a law firm specializing in medical malpractice and nursing home defense, where she assessed liability and damages in complex matters, prepared medical professionals for deposition, and negotiated settlements. With over twelve years of experience in medical malpractice defense, she has developed comprehensive expertise in healthcare liability matters and institutional risk management.

Dyan earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Journalism from Indiana University. She received her Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, where she completed the Geoffrey Fieger Trial Practice Institute, a two-year litigation-focused certificate program.
