Eddie Lane is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg in the General Liability and Third-Party Insurance Defense Division. He brings extensive litigation and insurance defense experience, with a strong background in managing complex insurance matters and legal operations.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Eddie worked as a Senior Litigation Attorney for a major national insurance carrier, handling complex litigation matters. He previously served as Managing Attorney, where he oversaw a substantial first-party insurance docket of over 600 claims while providing counsel on civil matters and managing attorneys and legal support staff. His earlier litigation experience includes representing United States Army Corps of Engineers, Department of Agriculture, and Department of Justice in Federal and State courts, handling breach of contract, fraud, collections, title disputes, and foreclosure matters.

Eddie’s unique background combines legal expertise with engineering experience, having worked in electrical engineering and product management roles early in his career. This multifaceted background provides him with a sophisticated understanding of technical and operational issues that often arise in general liability and complex litigation matters.

Eddie earned his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University. He received his Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law.
