Emely Chirino

Attorney

Emely Chirino is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg in the General Liability and Third-Party Insurance Defense Division. She focuses her practice on automobile liability defense, complex commercial litigation, investigating and monitoring counsel, liquor liability and dram shop liability, negligent security, products liability, premises liability, and trucking and commercial transportation matters.

Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Emely worked as a litigation assistant, supporting trial preparation and case strategy for matters headed to depositions, mediation, arbitration, and trial. She drafted legal documents, managed client communications, and helped ensure cases were organized and progressing efficiently toward resolution.

Emely earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a minor in Political Science, cum laude, from Florida State University, where she was a member of the Hispanic Honor Society and the Women in Pre-Law Society, and received the Florida Medallion Scholarship along with Dean’s List and President’s List honors. While completing her undergraduate degree, Emely also gained experience in an administrative role supporting investigative casework. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law, graduating magna cum laude, where she served as a Legal Research and Writing teaching assistant, a senior associate on the Journal of International Law and Comparative Studies and received the Dean’s Law Merit Scholarship along with Dean’s List honors. While in law school, Emely competed in multiple national trial competitions on behalf of the NSU Board of Advocates and was inducted into The Order of Barristers, a national honorary organization which recognizes graduating law students who demonstrate exceptional skill in trial and appellate advocacy. During her time in law school, Emely gained hands-on experience in discovery and case management, working closely with clients throughout the litigation process.
