Overview

Jeremy Mishali is a Partner and Business Unit Leader in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office, focusing his practice on commercial first-party property litigation.

Jeremy has extensive experience representing property insurance carriers in complex commercial and residential coverage disputes and litigation. He handles claims involving sinkholes, windstorms, fires, mold, theft, and water losses. Jeremy also has experience representing clients in negligent security and workers’ compensation. Prior to handling defense work, Jeremy worked as an Attorney at the Broward Public Defender’s Office 17th Judicial Circuit, where he litigated both misdemeanor and felony jury trials in County and Circuit Court.

Jeremy earned his Bachelor of Science degree, summa cum laude, in Political Science and Psychology from Florida State University. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Southern California Gould School of Law. During law school, Jeremy co-founded an American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) student organization and served as a Supervisor for General Relief Advocacy Project (now Public Counsel CARES), a volunteer program that provides resources and information on benefits including General Relief, CalFresh, CalWORKs and Medi-Cal.

Jeremy is also a Certified Water Damage Restoration Technician, accredited by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC).
