Ronald Lacayo is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, focusing his practice on first-party property insurance defense.
Ronald has extensive experience handling commercial and homeowners’ first-party property and general liability matters for international carriers. Ronald has litigated many claims related to property damage, loss of business income, construction defects, premise liability, and breach of contract.
Ronald received his Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from Florida International University. He then went on to earn his Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law where he was awarded a Book Award in Contracts and was a member of the Phi Delta Phi International Legal Society and the St. Thomas Law Review. While in law school, Ronald was a Judicial Intern for the Third District Court of Appeals. He also held the position of Active Learning Instructor, assisting first-year law students and conducting monthly lectures to students. In Ronald’s final year of law school, he became an Active Learning Instructor Captain, overseeing instructors in the areas of Torts, Contracts, Property, and Civil Procedure.
Ronald is fluent in Spanish.
