Varisa Lall Dass is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg, where she concentrates on matters related to all aspects of first-party property insurance defense. She litigates matters regarding homeowners’ claims, mold remediation, and issues related to assignment of benefits.

Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Varisa worked as a General Assignment News Reporter, where she honed her investigative skills, followed by positions as Assistant Public Defender and Assistant State Attorney, where she gained extensive trial experience including first and second chairing trials. She then worked as a first-party Associate, handling dispositive motions relating to Fla. Stat. §627.7152 and investigating cases involving fraud and claim manipulation. 

Varisa is an alumni of both the University of Florida and the University of South Florida, where she received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology. She then went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from Stetson University College of Law. While in law school, as a member of the Student Bar Association, Varisa was certified by the Florida Supreme Court to advocate on behalf of the Sixth Judicial Circuit.

Varisa serves as Port Commissioner for Group 2 of Palm Beach County. She also serves on the Palm Beach County Planning Commission, board of the Business Development Board, board of the West Palm Beach Downtown Development Authority, and serves on the steering committee for the Chamber of Commerce of the Palm Beaches’ Leadership West Palm Beach program.
