Accomplished litigator with 20+ years of experience joins firm to lead complex commercial litigation, family law, and insurance defense practices and establish criminal defense capability 

[JACKSONVILLE, FL] – Kelley Kronenberg is pleased to announce the addition of Tim Armstrong as Partner and Business Unit Leader, focusing on complex commercial litigation, criminal defense, family law, and general liability and third-party insurance defense. Tim brings over two decades of litigation experience and a proven track record of delivering exceptional results for clients across multiple practice areas. 

Tim is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience representing clients in complex commercial disputes, family law, insurance defense litigation, and criminal matters. Over his career, he has represented over 200 civil clients, over 1,200 criminal defendants, and handled complex insurance defense cases for major national carriers.

Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Tim served as Of Counsel at a Jacksonville-based firm where he represented defendants in complex civil litigation, including automobile cases, premises liability, and wrongful death actions. His clients included some of the most recognizable international product brands, as well as numerous property management and hotel companies. 

Tim founded and has successfully managed The Armstrong Law Group in Jacksonville, building a respected firm while maintaining a substantial personal practice. Prior to establishing his own firm, he worked as an associate attorney in insurance defense and as an Assistant Public Defender, where he maintained an average caseload of over 150 clients and was selected in 2002 as the only Assistant Public Defender to attend the Advanced Trial Institute at Mercer University School of Law. 

Tim earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Jacksonville University, his Master of Business Administration from American University, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. He has also served as an Adjunct Professor at Webster University and Florida State College at Jacksonville.
