Kelley Kronenberg Construction Law Division Chair Gary Brown, a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator, successfully mediated a resolution in a Broward County auto accident case involving comparative fault issues, statutory limitations on medical bill recovery, and the proximate cause of the accident and resulting injuries, including hotly contested issues involving pre-existing injuries/conditions. 

The plaintiff alleged personal injuries resulting from the accident and presented a pre-mediation demand exceeding seven figures. Without the guidance of a skilled mediator to assist the parties in evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of the case, including the risks of trial, the parties would have been unable to resolve the case. Through skilled mediation, the case was resolved well below the plaintiff’s demand.
