[FORT LAUDERDALE, FL] – Kelley Kronenberg has launched a Maritime Law Division led by Robert Kritzman to serve South Florida’s cruise, shipping, and yachting industries.

The division handles vessel transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate deals, and shipbuilding contracts for vessel owners, cruise lines, shipping companies, lenders, and investors.

“South Florida is one of the world’s premier maritime hubs,” said Heath S. Eskalyo, Principal Partner and Chief Performance Officer at Kelley Kronenberg. “Robert brings decades of experience, including in-house leadership at major cruise lines. He understands this industry from the inside.”

The division’s work includes vessel acquisitions and sales, ship financing, Jones Act and Passenger Vessel Services Act compliance, environmental and safety regulations, maritime M&A, shipbuilding contracts, and superyacht transactions.

The Maritime Law Division operates within Kelley Kronenberg’s Business Legal Team. Maritime matters often cross multiple practice areas, and this team works together to ensure the issues are addressed from every angle.

Kritzman previously held senior legal and executive roles at major cruise lines. He has negotiated with shipyards, managed Coast Guard audits, and closed financings under tight deadlines.

The division serves commercial shipping companies, cruise lines, passenger vessel operators, maritime lenders, shipyards, vessel construction companies, and superyacht owners and operators.
