Shaib Rios is an Attorney in Kelley Kronenberg’s Real Estate Division, focusing her practice on mortgage foreclosure and default services. She brings extensive experience in residential real estate, foreclosure litigation and appeals, lien enforcement, and federal and statutory compliance relative to creditor rights.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Shaib founded and operated her own boutique law practice focusing on estate planning, probate administration, real estate, and appellate matters. She previously served as Managing Partner of the Florida Division at a law firm for over thirteen years, where she oversaw statewide operations for major financial institutions and mortgage loan servicers, managed the firm’s appellate caseload including drafting briefs and oral argument, and litigated residential foreclosure cases from inception through resolution. Her extensive foreclosure experience includes analyzing and arguing lien priority issues, prosecuting and defending surplus funds claims, advising on assessment enforcement and collection strategy, and resolving title issues affecting residential real property. She has handled residential and commercial default litigation and appeals at multiple firms and served as an appellate attorney representing clients before Florida’s appellate courts. She began her career as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit of Florida, where she drafted legal memoranda and orders for the Circuit Court judiciary in civil and appellate divisions.
Shaib earned her Bachelor of Arts in History with a minor in Criminology from the University of Florida. She received her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
