Brittney Tolbert is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, handling all aspects related to general liability and third-party insurance litigation.
Before joining the firm, Brittney worked as an Assistant Public Defender for the Office of the Public Defender, Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. While in this position, Brittney handled high caseloads, filing various court documents, and handling cases at numerous points in the criminal process from arrest to disposition.
Brittney earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Florida International University, magna cum laude, focusing on Psychology and Criminal Justice. Brittney went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law and was the Executive Forum Editor for the Journal of Law & Public Policy.
While attending law school, Brittney worked for the Office of the Public Defender, in Jacksonville, Florida as a Certified Legal Intern, where she researched and drafted motions to dismiss in criminal misdemeanor cases. She also has experience in handling matters related to medical malpractice, slip and fall, and insurance defense.
