Felipe Gonzalez

Felipe Gonzalez is an Attorney at Kelley Kronenberg, where he assists in handling matters related to labor & employment law. Felipe defends employers in state and federal matters, specifically in litigation arising under state and federal discrimination laws; overtime and wage disputes under the Fair Labor Standards Act; disability laws; the Family Medical Leave Act; and retaliation and whistleblower statutes.” Further, Felipe assists in handling charges filed against employers in state and federal agencies. Felipe is licensed to practice in the State of Florida and in Federal Court in the Southern District of Florida and the Middle District of Florida.

Before joining Kelley Kronenberg, Felipe worked as an Associate Attorney for a boutique firm in Miami, handling labor & employment cases. He also has experience with personal injury and civil rights matters.

Felipe received his Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications from Florida International University. He then earned his Juris Doctor degree from DePaul University College of Law, where he was an Equal Justice America Fellow and a recipient of the DePaul Diversity Scholarship. He also served as President of the Latino Law Student Association and was awarded the CALI Excellence Award in Legal Research & Analysis III and Pre-trial Civil Litigation Strategies.

While attending law school, Felipe served as a Judicial Extern in the Domestic Relations Division of the Circuit Court of Cook County Chicago, Illinois. During his 2L year, Felipe interned at the Legal Aid Society of the Metropolitan Family Services, gaining court experience as an Illinois 711 Supreme Court Licensed law student.”
