Walid O. Mabrouk

Walid O. Mabrouk is a Partner at Kelley Kronenberg. He concentrates his practice on representing insurance carriers in cases involving personal injury protection and fraud/special investigations. 

Walid earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and International Business at Florida International University.  He earned his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, cum laude. During his time there, he participated in the International Bank Management Program, received the Award of Excellence, and was a member of the Honors Council, consistently achieving placement on the Dean’s List.  

Before attending law school, Walid was sponsored to study at the Police Academy at Broward College, where he received an award for outstanding achievement in physical training. and served as a Police Officer. Walid also worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Queens, New York City, where he prosecuted misdemeanors and felony offenses.   

Walid focuses his practice on representing insurance carriers in litigation and has over seven years experience practicing in Florida and New York. Walid handles cases from inception to final resolution; preparing initial case analysis, preparing pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and witness preparation. Walid also argues dispositive motions, defends and conducts depositions, attends mediations and arbitrations, with a high success rate.  With a focus on personal injury protection/no-fault and fraud/special investigation cases, he amassed extensive experience representing insurers. He also has experience in family law, criminal law, and civil litigation.   

In his free time, Walid enjoys running, weight training, and boxing, and has participated in the Miami Marathon, the New York Marathon, and the Honolulu Marathon.  

Walid is admitted to practice in New York and Florida and is fluent in Arabic.
