Kelley Kronenberg is proud to support the 12th Annual Friendship Circle Walking4Friendship 3K taking place on Sunday, April 25, 2021 at Tropical Park in Miami, FL. Kelley Kronenberg Partner Danielle Wallis, is actively involved in the Friendship Circle and will be participating in the walk.
Join the Friendship Circle as they come #TogetherAgain in support of individuals with special needs. Over the years, the Walk-A-Thon has raised over $1.2 million (that’s a lot of friendships!) for our programs which uplift children and teens with autism and other special needs through one-to-one friendships with teenage volunteers. This year’s Walk-A-Thon will pay homage to the courage and resiliency of our community while raising funds to enable us to help the community thrive… one friendship at a time.
The special needs community has been seriously impacted by the pandemic, with time away from friends, school & therapies compounding the need for socialization and parent and caregiver support.
Friendship Circle is a program that bring together teenage and adult volunteers in helping children, teens, and adults with special needs and their families. These individuals with special needs may suffer from loneliness in addition to their disabilities. They could have the best professional help (doctors, social workers, etc.) but they don’t necessarily have friends!
